AAPA farewells Ms Jenny Inmulugulu after 20 years service on the Board
The Chairman, Board, CEO and staff of the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority extend their heartfelt thanks to Ms Jenny Inmulugulu who attended her last Board meeting today after twenty years of service with the AAPA Board.
Ms Inmulugulu is a traditional owner of Warruwi on South Goulburn Island and has been a gracious and powerful advocate for sacred site protection. She joined the Board in April 2006 and served as Deputy Chair from 2008-2012. Ms Inmulugulu has seen the Authority through much change and challenge, and steps down with sadness but confidence that AAPA will carry on its important work keeping sacred sites safe.
As a senior woman for her clan, her wisdom and guidance on the Board will be greatly missed, although we know she will continue to be a strong voice for culture.
